Cliff Hanger Promotions present: The Cliff Hanger Hill Climb
Come to the beautiful Wairarapa and compete for the title. This 6.1km hillcimb races up through the Wairarapa hills, climbs approx 1000ft and negotiates 27 corners.
This event is geared for racers, weekend cafe heroes, or anyone that wants to scream up this primo twisty hill in safety.
The hillclimb is held on the Te Wharau Rd (the Kourarau hydro dam is part-way up this road). The road surface is good with only a few bumps and ruts to challenge rider and machine. For half the distance the road clings to the side of the hill (offering good views over the Wairarapa valley). The remainder of the course cuts through the surrounding farmland in a series of fast sweeping curves.
The hillclimb is to be held on the 15th and 16th March 2008.
